The second post! Whoop! Well Hi I'm Katie, and as Amy said, I'm going to be comparing, the new Pride and Prejudice (2005), with the old Pride and Prejudice (1995).


Well, we never finished the new one because we saw some stuff in it that we didn't like. But, from what we saw...we didn't like it at all. The old Pride and Prejudice is 5 hours long, and the new one is 2 hours and 9 minutes. Everything happened so fast in the new one, stuff that wasn't supposed to happen for at least 1/2 an hour to an hour into the movie. And We hated Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Darcy, was horrible. He was so snappish, Lizze ( Keira Knightly ) would say something and he would answer her before she was even done with what she was saying. And Mr. Wickham ( Rupert Friend ), I didn't like him either. And the Mr. Collins ( Tom Hollander ) , he was so boring and, he couldn't read his script for anything. I would watch both of them ans see what you like better, some people like the new one better, but, We like the old one best.






 So I'm going to be posting pics of both of them, comparing the actors. :) The actors from the new on are first.

The First Post!

Well, This is the first post. We thought we'd start out with wallpapers of the movies we fan for, so today we're just going to be putting pictures/ Wallpapers of the movies on the blog, The movie Katie will be doing next time is Pride and Prejudice

Unfortunately, we couldn't find any pictures of Wives and Daughters. If we find some, we'll put it on.

Just so you all know, some of the movies that we are going to be doing isn't any Jane Austen or Elizabeth Gaskell. For example, we are going to be doing Bleak House, which is by Charles Dickens. But almost all of it is BBC drama, and it's all in that time period. I hope you all enjoy this!
